Mount Vesuvius erupted in 79 A.D., covering both the cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum. Explore how the fiery ash affected each city as excavators uncover their hidden treasures. Presented by Dr. Lorrie Wenzel. Free to attend, but Registration is Required.

Dr. Wenzel is an author, Professor of Biblical Studies, church historian, and a former faculty member in the Religious Studies department at Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee. She has traveled throughout Europe, studying over 300 churches.  In March 2023, she published a book entitled CATHEDRALS: Clues to Identifying Biblical Figures in Cathedrals Around the World. An energetic speaker, she regularly lectures as an enrichment speaker on cruise ships in the Mediterranean Sea.
