Perler Bead Art Show

This program is for anyone entering grades 4-12 only.  

Let's make some Fine Art with Perler Beads!  Create your own work of art no larger than 20x20 beads.  Be sure to put a frame at least 2 beads wide around it!  We'll iron your design, and then display it through the end of the Summer Reading Program in the library.  Will you create a mini Perler Bead version of your favorite museum piece, or design something completely original?  It's completely up to you!

Stop in anytime between 12-7 pm to create your art.  We recommend budgeting about 1 hour to create your artwork if you plan your design ahead of time.  No new projects can be started after 6:15 pm.

We recommend printing the worksheet attached here and using it to design your artwork ahead of time.  This will allow you to focus on assembling your artwork at the library and save you time.  If you are unable to print the worksheet yourself, visit the Children's Desk and ask for assistance. Please note that while we will endeavor to have a wide variety of colors available, we cannot guarantee the availability of any particular color.

Registration is appreciated (and will allow you to receive a reminder before the event) but not required.
