We are going to yarn bomb the library! What does that mean? Basically, we're going to add an explosion of color to the Pewaukee Public Library for the summer by first finger knitting long, woven strands of yarn, and then wrapping our creations all over the library for people to see and enjoy.
Teens (anyone entering grades 6-12) are invited to decorate the building with the finger knit creations previously made either at home or in the Library. The result will be unexpected pops of color throughout the Library! We will use the Visaya Room (the big glass doors in the YA area of the library) as our home base for this project; please meet there to receive supplies and instructions.
Registration is appreciated so we can be sure to have enough snacks for our yarn bomb helpers, and so we can plan our yarn bombing tactics appropriately. But it's definitely not required!
