We are going to yarn bomb the library! What does that mean? Basically, we're going to add an explosion of color to the Pewaukee Public Library for the summer by first finger knitting long, woven strands of yarn, and then wrapping our creations all over the library for people to see and enjoy.
Anyone ages 8+ (kids, teens, and adults) who wants to can come to the Library on Thursday, June 26 to do as much or as little finger knitting as they like to create the strands that will eventually decorate the Library. Stop in anytime between 1:00-6:30 pm, and stay as long as you like. We will supply the yarn and teach you how to do the finger knitting (it's pretty easy; we promise).
Leave your creations behind, and Teens (entering grades 6-12) will use them to decorate the Library on July 10.
No registration needed!
